Make Money with Community Sites

This is slightly related to my Make Money with Forums but for this purpose I’m going to bring you through making money using community sites like Friendster or MySpace where you basically set up an account to tell people who you are and what you are selling or promoting then expand your network by having “friends” recognize that they are related to you in some way.

Take for example MySpace which now has over one hundred million members. That is a lot of potential customers for your product or your affiliate products imagine the marketing potential for your site with that big an audience. The trick is to find a good nice and target it square on. So how do you target the right people? How do you easily turn the networks inside community sites like MySpace into a money making adventure?

First, there are all types of MySpace tools. These tools include automatic friend adders, tools that help commenters, and messengers etc. There are also other little different tools that the different programs contain, but those are the three things that most MySpace tools contain. In order to make money with MySpace it is necessary that you use these tools and leverage off their usability.

Now most MySpace tools make you pay for the program per MySpace account. What this means is that you would have to pay for the program for each account that you create on MySpace. This can get very expensive which is why I use the one MySpace tool that allows unlimited MySpace accounts for a one time fee. Remember that the trick is to leverage. It is possible to make a lot of money with this program, I currently make over a hundred dollars a day, you have multiple accounts, each targeting a different niche and work the niche by promoting your item while working on developing your contacts.

So how do you target people on MySpace? The program that I use allows you to extract user ID's from a certain area of MySpace. Take for example, I have an Ebook that tells people what to feed their dog and what to do with their dog to make it healthier and live longer.

I would go to the groups section of MySpace and start my search there. MySpace basically has groups for all types of niches. So I would go to a group named something like "I love my dog". You would then extract the user ID's for that group of people and advertise your product to them. Since your advertisements are effectively targeted your conversions should be good.

There are two ways to do this. You can add these people as friends and then comment on “their space” attracting their attention and also showing that you have an active interest in them. Or you can just send messages to all these people. Personally, I’d recommend the first method because comments are more friendly and don’t look like Spam. Also make sure you read MySpace's terms of service to learn what you can and can not do, you don’t want to be kicked out of MySpace before you make a good sum of money.

Again there are so many different groups of people you can target on MySpace for so many different products that it is a marketer's dream, the cost of reaching out to your market is also extremely small which makes things all the sweeter. As I stated earlier, I make over a hundred dollars a day on MySpace and the only money I spent was the one time fee that I occurred with the MySpace tool I use.

Obviously before you choose to target a certain niche you have to do the all due research to determine that your niche is one that will earn you money. A great affiliate-product middleman site is www.paydotcom.com. I suggest getting a membership there, it is totally free. When you get a membership, just browse through some of their products that you can sell - they have thousands to choose from so you can choose from thousands to promote.
